We were here in mid-August and could observe the cormorant colony, audible from afar, as well as a few grey herons and many different species of ducks. Taking binoculars is highly recommended. With a bike trailer, it was a bit bumpy pushing it along the short path between the track and the observation hut. We could then park the bikes at the observation point. It was also possible to comfortably observe the animals from one of the seating areas.
