In keeping with the theme, this year we had perfect weather for cycling as well as eating on the Wish height. There was delicious 😋 white sausage with pretzel and wheat beer. The resting place on a juniper slope with an amazing view is a dream!
The route was demanding from a sporting point of view, but led past great corners that were well worth seeing! It was nice

So that we could feast without a guilty conscience at our meeting, which was planned at short notice, we went on a bike tour beforehand. On quiet streets it went relaxed through nice villages to the high horror. The Kammerforst offered itself as a cozy resting place! 🍅🌭🍻
Apparently we also had the weather on our side and so we went back and forth across the fields comfortably. In between we hit a wind farm - to see the elements on the ground up close is really impressive! 😲
... and then the delicious food! Thank you Adele! 👌👏

After the bike tour, there was lunch at the well-kept snack at the dam and then we went on the water. We had already done sport and so we just paddled out relaxed, let ourselves drift and sunbathe! 🌞🙂
      What an idyll 👍🙂

Finally it was time for a trip together! We used the cool morning for cycling. At night it had apparently rained, so it was a wonderful lap around the lake.
The paddlers at the iSUP's couldn't make us jealous because we still had them in the car! 😄

In order to be able to make full use of yesterday's day, we had spent the night 20 kilometers from Nuremberg and this morning we cycled into Nuremberg almost alone and relaxed. 🚴‍♂️
A delicious café was already open for a second breakfast and afterwards there was still time for a stroll through the lovely Nuremberg before we went back home by train.
Our conclusion: the 5 rivers cycle path is a dream. Well signposted throughout and an absolute recommendation as a holiday trip!

Today the weather god wanted to compensate us for the hardship at the start of the tour and sent beautiful summer weather
First a walk in the fog to the bakery, delicious breakfast, during which the tents were drying - one more stop in the monastery shop, then we went on our way. As always, it was well signposted, even when it was detoured!
First highlight of the day: Berching. Such a sweet beautiful town! A real pearl to discover, relax and feel good!
Since the sun was pressing quickly, we took advantage of a nice tip from a Plankstetter resident and jumped into a quarry pond on the way - I had more full baths this week than usual at home! 😲
After that, it was time to slow down: the Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal is nicely embedded in a shady avenue, but offers little variety. This leaves space to relax and unwind.
After a few confusions at the end of the tour, we found the recommended pub and were able to end the day with a meal and a hearty snack.
Our meanwhile trained eye then quickly found a storage place in the evening sun - where we could review a great tour.
Tomorrow morning we will go to Nuremberg to hopefully have time for the old town. 🙂🙋‍♂️
