This fountain is located directly on the city harbor and features a ship's propeller as a symbol of Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH (MMG). MMG is the world market leader in ship propeller manufacturing. Ships on all the world's oceans are powered by propellers from Waren (Müritz). The fountain was donated by the Rotary Club, the Lions Club, and private individuals, and was designed by Walther Preik.
