Who would like to test the climbing ability of his bike - please. Relatively long translated city bikes with few gears should bite their teeth here. Trekking bikes with 10 or more gears have a chance. Up-to-date mountain bikes with eleven gears are coming up ...
In addition: push for a moment is no shame!
Attention: when driving downhill. It has every now and then from storms washed out gutters and potholes. There are already some fallen. If you are unsure, drive slowly.
Is this trail a trail? By the way, even legal cars can drive on this gravel road, even buses are sometimes to be found - beware!

Short steep section "Schachen" with well over 20% gradient.
Here you can test your bike, downhill - Vario support down, uphill: test your smallest gear. Where some city or trekking bike has to give up, you usually have no problems here with the mountain bike. Pushing for a short time is no shame!
Danger:
- Ruts washed out by storms made some of them leave involuntarily.
- !!! Oncoming traffic !!! - unbelievable, but this road is used by cars and even sometimes buses! Drive slowly downhill ...

The easiest way to climb the high plateau Burg / Höge is the Schachen high. Has in the upper part but loose 20% slope! Easy to drive gravel road between Benistobel (valley) and castle (high plateau). Through S0.
