Hiking
- A beautiful, deep harbor bay
- Steep slopes
- Nestled against countless pretty houses
- Almost all of them painted in soft pastel colors or the local blue and white.
It's a fascinating sight, both from the promenades below, but especially from the best vantage point, the Kastro or Chorio Monastery, a few hundred steps above the sea!
The walk to the top is strenuous but very rewarding.
The people we met were – as is typical for the island – friendly and relaxed.
