The Cygański Forest is a remnant of an old forest stretching from Mikuszowice to Kamienica. It was mentioned in a document from 1312, in which Mieszko of Cieszyn grants the forest to the citizens of Bielsko. This document is the oldest written mention of the city of Bielsko.
