Since ancient times, Marinino was part of the patrimony of the Taneyev landowners. Representatives of this dynasty left a bright mark not only in the history of the Vladimir region, but also in the history of Russia. Everyone knows the composer, virtuoso pianist and director of the Moscow Conservatory Sergei Ivanovich Taneyev. Ilya Mikhailovich Taneyev (the composer's grandfather) rose to the rank of foreman, and his two brothers in turn "marked" themselves as Vladimir provincial leaders of the nobility. This post was one of the highest in the provincial hierarchy. In the village of Marinino, there is still a building of the former estate of the Taneyev landowners.
Until the beginning of the 19th century, the Marinino church was wooden. In 1808, through the efforts of the landowner Andrei Mikhailovich Taneyev (the former provincial leader) and his younger brother Vasily Mikhailovich (he was yet to take the post of leader of the provincial nobility), a stone church was erected.
