The Hranicke/Reichenthal Border Guard Company was established in October 1950 near the now-defunct village of Reichenthal. It served its purpose until 1980 and was razed to the ground. The Reichenthal Company was re-established near Neuhäusl.
The former site now houses a lumber yard.
