Approximately 15 km south of the next bridge over the Rhine (motorway at Mainz-Weisenau, wg of the noise for pedestrians and cyclists very annoying) you get here for 2.50 € (by bike, 1.50 on foot) on the other side. The ferry runs during the day about every 20 minutes, if necessary, more often. Restoration reduces the waiting time on both sides.
