📍 Preußensteig Trail near Kusel
Quiet, soft, and green: Here, the path leads along a narrow trail through dense, vibrant forest. The ground is springy, the light flickers through the leaves, and the sounds fade. One of those sections where you're completely in the moment.
💡 Tip:
Just slow down and enjoy – it's pleasantly cool here, especially on warm days. If you start early, you'll often hear only the chirping of birds and your own footsteps.

Hiking
A narrow, rooted path winds its way directly along the former border – a quiet, almost mystical section of the Preußensteig Trail. Light breaks through the dense canopy of leaves, while the old border marker on the tree silently tells of the past.
💡 Tip: If you look closely, you'll still discover traces of old border markers along the path – perfect for little discoveries along the way.
