Located in the heart of Hanstedt is this beautifully designed little square, surrounded by the Hanstedt Church, the Dittmer department store, the old village pub, the town hall, and several other historic buildings. Along the church wall, there are some lovely benches that invite you to take a break. Because Hanstedt is an idyllic and relaxed village rather than a big city, it's easy to strike up pleasant conversations with locals and tourists alike. Whenever I'm in Hanstedt, I always take a short break there!
