The small church at Frankfurter Straße 27 was built around 1892. From 1956 onwards, the building was used solely as a chapel dedicated to St. Mary, as it had become too small for the congregation. The church and parish of St. Albertus then took over its function. In 1969, the Church of Our Lady was established as an independent parish. This made Langen's oldest church the parish church of the youngest parish. Over time, repeated renovations were necessary, which changed the exterior of the small church several times, even today...🚴♂️
