There are all sorts of legends from the French cave, So the inhabitants are said to have hidden from the troops of Napoleon, and it is supposed to give way to the neighboring villages ... No idea if that's true ...
Currently, the French cave is quite unspectacular and you can not "go in". It's really just a short "hole". At that time, as children, we crept in a few meters with a flashlight and were pleased when we found some chunks of pyrite (cat's gold). A hike to the cave is worthwhile in any case, because of the beautiful landscape and the long forests.
