This park's history begins in 1981 - then it was created by a creative team based on sketches by Vladimir Boynov with the support of the OChKS plant. All the park's contents in the form of wooden sculptures were created in just two years, and Skazka became a favorite place of the city's residents. In 2012, the city updated the park with sculptures by woodcarver Valery Kiselev, but only in 2019, when the park became a participant in the "Look into a Fairy Tale" Charity Program of the "Step into Life" Charity Foundation, new fairy-tale characters from cabinetmakers Igor Volodin, Roman Golubin, Nikolai Simonov, Alexander Barinov and Sergey Smolov began to appear in Skazka every year. Now there are many new play facilities and photo zones on the park's territory. The park has a picturesque pond, on the shore of which you can have a picnic and listen to the birds singing.
