The new pedestrian suspension bridge over the Martertal valley connects the Sarntal valley (Bundschen) with the Tschöggelberg (Senesien). It is a technical masterpiece that not only provides a convenient crossing for hikers and cyclists, but also supplies the arid, agriculturally cultivated low mountain range of the Tschöggelberg with valuable water from the Sarnen mountains via the pipeline running beneath the bridge.
