Rothenburg ob der Tauber: Until 1803 it was a imperial city and is today with its largely preserved medieval old town a world-famous tourist attraction.

Rothenburg is worth a visit, although very touristy but still a very nice historic getgeputzt city

Was a child for a few hours in Rothenburg o.d.T. Since then I have not forgotten this city. But I was only 35 years later with my family and not disappointed. Rothenburg has always been our intermediate station when it takes us to the Alps.
If it goes for you to the north. Is the Lüneburg Heath also worth a stop between. Have a lot of bike tours on Komoot for you.
    Kind regards

The Jakobsweg Main-Taubertal is with its nine stages a about 183 kilometers long, mostly in the Main-Tauber-Kreis in Baden-Württemberg and partly in the districts of Miltenberg (start) and Ansbach (destination) in Bavaria running branch of the German Way of St. James route.
