The Cheese Warehouse in Woerden is worth a visit. Woerden used to be the cheese town in the area. In this museum you can find everything about it, but of course you can also taste it ... The cheese market on the Kerkplein returns every Saturday in the summer. Although it is a lot smaller, you can buy delicious cheeses from the region here.

The Cheese Store in Woerden is the place to learn all about cheese. You can discover the cheese, watch, taste and much more. Looking around the dairy, you will learn more about Woerden, the town with a typical farmer's market, and discover the secret of cheese ripening. Under the direction of a cheese maker, you can also make your own cheese and learn more about the tastiest varieties of farm cheese at a tasting session led by the cheese master.
