A fantastic distant view into the Rhine plain and over Heidelberg to the Palatinate Forest and Speyer – of course, only if it's not too hazy. It is definitely recommended to go up by mountain railway – equally recommended for cyclists and mountain bikers, of course. In the warm months, it is unfortunately quite overcrowded with lots of tourists and local walkers. This can become a bit stressful for cyclists of all kinds. It's best to get off briefly near the mountain railway station – this can avoid trouble or even accidents.

Great view of the plane. A nice place to stay, but a lot of business on the weekend.
