South of Apeldorn near Meppen there is a conspicuously small megalithic tomb directly on the country road. With only three bays and a length of 5 m, the burial chamber is all the more characteristic and extremely well preserved. With the exception of the central capstone, all the monoliths are preserved in situ.
The name derives from the idea that babies are not brought by the stork, but fetched from under stones. You just have to have the right key to open the stone.
