    Hiking

The Battery Pradeau, called "Tour Fondue", was built between 1633 and 1637 on behalf of Richelieu to protect the anchorages and the pass between the island of Porquerolles and the Giens peninsula.

This small polygonal work was rebuilt in the 19th century and has a barracks and a powder magazine. In 1881 he was still armed with 2 guns with 30 strips. It was downgraded and soon abandoned.

For security reasons, the building is closed to the public.

For 8 euros you can go inside and get information about nature in the area, including videos, 3D platos and films, I think it's really worth it.
