The history of the church dates back to the second half of the 18th century. The almost square, plastered sacred building was built in 1775 in place of a previous building. At the same time it received a square roof tower in the west. It has a tent roof and is completed by a wind vane with a dragon's head, which indicates that the church was built in 1775. A special feature of the church tower is its one-hand clock, which dates from the 17th century and was restored in 1992. The wooden pulpit altar inside the church comes from the previous building and dates from the early 18th century. In the years 1996 to 1997 the church received extensive renovation and restoration.
