The church of Canedole, dedicated to Bishop San Martino, was built in the 14th century according to a Romanesque architecture with a characteristic bell tower/military tower. The bell tower, originally a real defensive tower from the 14th century, was raised in the 18th century with the construction of the bell chamber surmounted by Ghibelline battlements, with a bronze bell, cast for military purposes at the beginning of 1939-1945 and replaced by an identical one in the 1950s.
