Lommel SK is a Belgian football club based in the city of Lommel.KVSK United Overpelt-Lommel (KVSK United for short) was formed in 2003 after club SK Lommel went bankrupt. The remains of the club were integrated into the KVV Overpelt-Fabriek.The abbreviation "KVSK" stands for Koninklijke Voetbalvereniging en Sportkring (German: Royal Football Association and Sports Circle) and is intended to combine the merged clubs KVV Overpelt-Fabriek and SK Lommel in the name.In 2010, KVSK United merged with KFC Racing Mol-Wezel to form Lommel United. In 2017 the club was renamed Lommel SK.
Lommel SK now plays in the 2nd Belgian football league and ended the 22/23 season as 7th.
