Above the western of the three Asberger lakes sits an old lookout pulpit, which is only a few meters off the beaten track. Unfortunately, the fence is rotten and the view completely overgrown. If you are a bit adventurous, sure-footed and wear good shoes, you can walk down a small path down to the lake and along the shore. Here also steps with iron bars were fixed in the ground, today some of the projecting bars are dangerous tripping hazards. Below you have very nice views of the lake and the old quarry.
