Hiking

This new circular hiking trail, which begins at Hofgut Georgenthal, was officially opened on April 12, 2025. The 7.5 km route, following the footsteps of the Limes and the Iron Road, is very varied and well signposted. This is all the more important given that some sections are not included on Komoot and have an almost "cross-country" feel. Our dog was delighted, as the trail is mostly paw-friendly.
