The climb to Passo Falzarego (2105 m) from the Caprile side is about 19 km long, with a difference in altitude of 1100 metres. After Cernadoi/Andraz the climb becomes regular, with constant gradients of around 6-8% and numerous panoramic hairpin bends in the final stretch. It is a high altitude pass subject to seasonal opening.
