Ancient entrance used before the excavation of a tunnel that now more easily connects pilgrims and tourists to the sanctuary. By means of stairs first down and then up it allows you to reach the sanctuary from the valley below.

This is a must-have when you're at Lake Garda!
We walked down to the church and took the minibus back up.
There are seating areas for a short break, and they also serve small snacks, ice cream, and hot drinks. Restrooms are also available. The whole place is wheelchair accessible!
