The landscape of the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park was formed around 15,000 years ago by the Weichselian glaciation, with terminal moraines in the north and east and outwash plains in the south and west. Here you'll find around 230 lakes, 3,000 moors, and the largest grazing forest in Central Europe. The area is home to rare species such as ospreys, pond turtles, and orchids – even 10 percent of all German ospreys breed here.

Tip: Take a multi-day hike "Around the Schorfheide" or explore some of the 150 kilometers of waterways and historical monuments in this unique natural setting. 🚣 🐟 🦅
