The municipality of Amelinghausen is located in one of the oldest, best-known and most beautiful cultural landscapes in Germany, the Lüneburg Heath

Other heathland areas are quiet and idyllic retreats – like the Marxener Paradies. The Schwindebecker Heide, with the adjacent Schwindequelle, is definitely also worth a visit.
