Almost entirely quite rough gravel it makes for hard going, but the views are totally worth it!! I wouldn't recommend this road to anything narrower than a gravel or hybrid bike, purely because you'll spend so long concentrating on the road surface and missing all the views. I would definitely recommend taking your time so you have time to enjoy your surroundings.
