We spent the night at the Gleniti Golf course and set off on the ride from there. It was a lovely ride, of which we've done parts off in other rides, but that didn't detract from it at all. Paeroa Ford Rd was the highlight a lovely gentle down hill on lovely gravel with a light tail wind. The Ford was flowing too fast for us so a local farmer, who was driving up the road, took us across on his ute. How nice is that?

This ending up being a stunning ride. We started off on the A2O being in at Elephant Rocks and down through the gully. We left the A2O at the Napara turn off then ducked and dived on sealed and gravel roads to Weston then dropped into town on Argowan Rd. Tussock Rd was the highlight. A beautiful roller coaster ridge ride on smooth gravel, with excellent views over the surrounding country.

After a lovely night in the tent at Double hut we had a beautiful ride down to Lake Heron then carried onto the Rd.

I've done this ride twice before and it's beautiful. We stayed the night at Double hut. Stour track is in pretty good condition, but with all the rain the river crossings were deeper than normal a at this time of the year, and some smaller credits we're running that normally wouldn't.
