Gravel ride road ride in Whakawerawers Forest
I took my cross country bike a spin. It was very nice to ride a light bike, with no luggage for a change. We're did take a Thermos and have coffee with a view. A lovely ride.

Te Araroa to the end of East Cape Rd

Waipawa to Waipukarau then a loop on the cycleway.
This was a pleasant if not scenic ride.At the Station cafe we had a lovely morning coffee and lunch. We had to double back on the way home as the swing bridge had been washed away.
