"Góry Zajęcze" often mistakenly called "Piekarskie Góry" is a forested dune area, a sandy elevation (8 m relative height) currently a city park, which is overgrown with coniferous trees that like dry dune soils.
On the other hand, "Piekarskie Góry", or rather Piekarska Góra, German Beckersberg, Bäckerberg - is an area covering a leveled dune elevation on Bydgoskie Przedmieście in Toruń. This area stretches from Kraszewskiego Street to Słowackiego Street in the north-south line and from Matejki Street to Sienkiewicza Street in the east-west line. The elevation was leveled before 1832, as part of the expansion of the Toruń Fortress.
