A smaller, somewhat quieter street well worth seeing, it runs between "Amtsfreiheit" and "Alte Poststraße." The residential building at number 24 and the "Kolonistenhaus" at number 17 in the "Kolonie Sandberge" are listed as cultural monuments in Arendsee (Altmark). While there's certainly still a lot of work to be done in terms of renovation and restoration, the slow state of decay also has its own charm. The Kolonistenhaus feels a bit like a lost place, as if time had suddenly stood still. There are several charming, renovated, and very beautiful residential buildings to discover here.
