Coal has been mined here since 1958. According to its own information, the subsequent factory covers about 80% of the world's montane wax requirements, which e.g. is used for shoe polish. The whole area around is owned by ROMONTA GMBH. From the respective ends of the street you have a good view of the gigantic terrain. Parts of the remaining holes are flooded.
