The bear park is located on former German military land and is just 2 km from Aigen.
Here, abused bears find a sanctuary and are given the chance to live out their instincts again.
The sanctuary is not open to the public, but can be circumnavigated on foot at any time via a 1.5 km circular path.
With a little luck, you can also observe the bears from an observation platform.
