Hiking

Lint was a hamlet of Kontich until 1870 and did not have its own parish church until 1823. After a request to the Council of Brabant, it received its own chapel in 1770, where an assistant pastor from Kontich served. On 18 August 1823, this chapel was elevated to parish church. Between 1842 and 1843, the chapel was expanded to the current church building designed by Ferdinand Berckmans. However, the building did not yet have a tower and in 1847 a front facade with a tower was added to the design by Paul Stoop.

The church building has a barrel vault. At the crossing there is a cross vault. In the church there is an oak pulpit from 1846 and an organ from 1831.
