The memorial wall was built as a final tribute to all commercial farmers and their families murdered in the Republic of South Africa since 31 May 1961.
The nine stone structures represent the nine provinces, with the names of commercial farmers murdered since 31 May 1961 engraved on them.
The three pillars represent a family. (Man, woman and child) The horizontal links show a strong family bond and support through good times and difficult.
