After we drove through narrow, stony forest roads, we arrived at Thumsee. If you love swimming in lakes, this is the place for you. The water temperature today (August 15, 2018) was 24 degrees and the water is crystal clear. The step entry makes this lake very child friendly. Especially beautiful is the idyllic atmosphere: you swim in the middle of the lake and all around mountains .. just fantastic!
On the big sunbathing lawn you will always find a place for yourself on sunny days. A toilet house is also available directly at the sunbathing area.
