The Himbächel Viaduct is a single-track viaduct of the Odenwaldbahn in the section Erbach-Hetzbach in the Odenwald at kilometer 24.54 across the valley of Himbachel. The viaduct was completed in 1864. The viaduct can easily be seen from the neighboring Bundesstraße 45 and is illuminated at night.

The Himbächel Viaduct is an impressive structure. You can even get there by car, as it is right on the main road. I have often passed by. But standing in front of it now is just something completely different. Definitely a stop value whether on foot or by bike or for the lazy by car 👍🏻
