Primarily tackled in the opposite direction on a mountain bike, the Via delle Ville, climbed on a gravel bike, is tough! For two reasons: first, the gradients, peaking at 14%, and second, several sections that, although less steep, have larger rocks that complicate the climb and prevent a slow pace, which would otherwise result in a loss of front-end steering.
It should be done on dry terrain, as some sections become muddy and too slippery when it rains.
Of course, doing it on an XC or e-bike makes life easier.
