The Hjertesti i Vandel takes you through an area full of history and highlights for almost seven kilometers. The circular route starts at a Legeplads with a fitness trail and dog forest and takes you on a journey through the history of the Second World War - past old bunkers and the former NATO airfield. On the way you can visit the Randbøl Sogns Museum and enjoy a great view towards Billund at Vandel Efterskole. In the Vandel business park you will find one of the largest solar plants in Northern Europe and even a go-kart track. At the end you follow part of the old railway line from Vejle to Grindsted - nature and history perfectly combined!
