This area was created according to the 'crested newt' model. In the pools we find frogs, toads and also the tree frog. This bright green frog had almost disappeared from the Achterhoek. If you sit down on the bench here on a beautiful early summer evening, you can almost certainly enjoy a tree frog concert and you will immediately understand why this animal is also called the farmer's lark.
