On a rock you will find the coats of arms of the Kingdom of Bohemia, the Electorate of Bavaria and the Duchy of Palatinate. After decades of disputes about the exact course of the border, an agreement was finally reached in 1754. To commemorate this and to mark the border, the three coats of arms were carved into the stone.

The Gibacht circular hiking trail was laid out in 2005 on the initiative of the Gibacht mountain innkeeper and glass artist Ralph Wenzel.
