Commonly known as: Hohoma Hill Shrine.

It is located at the foot of Mt. Honma, one of the sites of the legend of the "Hohoma Hill in the Armpit," and enshrines Susanoo.

There is a folktale between this shrine and Kunimi Shrine, located at the foot of Mt. Kunimi, another Hohoma Hill.

Long ago, Susanoo of Suga Shrine stole a straw mat from Ameno-Koyane-no-Mikoto (Kasuga Shrine) in Nyuya, Takatori Town, and hid in the wisteria forest (Kamikakushi-no-Mori) in Imasumi. Ninigi-no-Mikoto of Kunimi Shrine saw this and laughed.
