Mountain biking
It has a castle from the Moorish period that can be visited and the former Convent of Santo Domingo.
It has a population of just over 5,200 inhabitants whose main occupation is olive farming. In ancient history, it was known as Mentesa Bastia and is located at the eastern end of the Sierra Mágina mountain range, nestled on the hill known as Cerro de San Marcos, next to the even larger hill of San Cristobal.
