Bai Da Ong Dia Beach was named after a stone that some locals once found on the beach and recognized as their deity. Ong Dia means earth god in Vietnamese. The coast is not particularly suitable for swimming due to the strong wind and wave conditions. Water sports enthusiasts, especially kite surfers, but also "ordinary" surfers, have conquered their territory here.
