Attested from the beginning of the 18th century, the Torfou mill was still operating in 1888. It had a single waterway and 3 fulling pots driven by a bucket wheel, with a power of 1 to 2 horses. Fulling consisted of beating with heavy mallets, the woolen cloths placed in a tank filled with water and clay (degreasing). The building was restored by the associations "la Perche Dorée" and "Torfou Nature et Sentiers".
