This trailhead marks the start of a 2.25-mile loop that winds through the base of the Converse Basin, a beautiful mixed forest of lodgepole, western white, Jeffrey, and sugar pines. At .8 miles, a spur trail descends toward the incredible Boole Tree, which is the sixth-largest giant sequoia in the world. There is a vault toilet here and plenty of parking.
**It is important to note that Converse Mill Road is not recommended for low clearance vehicles, so make sure to plan ahead.
