During spring, snowmelt can transform Dry Beaver Creek into a flowing waterway, offering. The Woods Canyon Trail provides access to see where the creek crosses the trail and ascends through yucca-dotted grasslands and juniper woodlands. At 3.5 miles in, hikers reach a stunning sandstone “beach,” where the creek flows over water-carved russet stone, creating rapids, eddies, and serene pools.
