Erdmannsdorf Castle is a historicist-style castle in the town of the same name, Erdmannsdorf in the Ore Mountains. The complex is located in the south of the town on a southeast-facing mountain spur above the Zschopau and emerged from a medieval castle complex. Hiking

There was probably already a so-called spur castle here on the Zschopau in the 12th century. That was the name given to the fortifications that stood on a rocky spur, but not on the top of a mountain. In old documents you can find the name "manor house of Werner de Ertmarsdorf". The complex was later converted into a manor and castle. Its current appearance goes back to Hans Heinrich von Könneritz.

In 2000, the castle's outbuilding was restored. In addition to four apartments, club rooms and an exhibition room were created on the ground floor.
